Meet us! Brittany, our Head of Patient Experience and Sydney, our Brand and Experience Coordinator. Before we joined TAC team, we were patients so we have the full insider perspective of how our patient experience and care can shape goals and outcomes – because we’ve lived it! We love sharing our “care DNA” – what makes our care special and what makes it work so well and we thought it would be beneficial to share it with you.

Our approach is rooted in the power of care and data to drive both goals and overall experience. By combining  individualized support with real-time data tracking, we’re able to create a more precise, informed, and sustainable path toward your ideal weight and your overall health goals.

This allows us to not only guide results, but enhance how patients feel throughout the entire journey. We manage weight loss trajectories through a full service, hands on experience yielding loss that is customized for every patient, and when appropriate exceeds loss seen in the studies about weight loss on a GLP-1.

Most telehealth care and even primary care is reactive and episodic:

  • “Your labs are fine, see you next year”
  • “Here’s a prescription, check back if something breaks.”
  • There’s no data points to assess how well a dose is working. There’s typically a “set it and forget” attitude.

We track full trajectory and can actually pinpoint when you’ll hit your goal just a few weeks into your journey.

We do this by closely tracking our proprietary data metrics and the trends of those metrics,  and by assess side effects in real time, allowing us to make informed, proactive adjustments throughout your journey. We track all blood work over time, even when values fall within a “normal” range, to better understand how your body is adapting and functioning. As part of this, we identify areas for optimization, rather than simply looking at whether labs are in or out of range. We monitor patterns to gain a more complete and nuanced picture of your long-term health in both the short and long-term. We’re planning for your health in 5, 10, 15+ years because that’s what matters most.

We build protocols, not just “deal” prescriptions

Most telehealth today is built to be transactional. A prescription is written, follow-up is minimal, and support often only exists if something goes wrong. There’s rarely a true system of care behind it.

At TAC, we approach things differently. We’ve built structured protocols that support every phase of the journey, from weight loss and side effect management to nutrition and long-term sustainability. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, we layer thoughtful interventions to create the best possible experience and the strongest outcomes. Every plan is dynamic, meaning we continuously adjust care in real time based on your data, your patterns, and how your body is responding.

These are system based solutions customized for every single patient and they allow results to flourish without any aspect of the journey falling in the cracks.

We translate physiology into real life

Most providers speak in labs and ranges, we explain the context of what specific markers do and the implications of when they’re out of range in the short and long-term. We connect lab work to the journey so that we can use markers as a tool. For example:

  • When we see an increased LDL and increased triglycerides, we look for additional signs of insulin resistance so that we can address support for hepatic metabolism and explain how the medication supports this in addition to lifestyle tactics.
  • When someone says they’re fatigued, we don’t just assume it’s surface level reasons, we look to understand the root of what could be driving fatigue at any given time (ie: hormonal, iron deficiency, and more).
  • There’s hundreds, if not thousands of scenarios just like the ones above. Our goal is to address health holistically, with weight as a goal component, but not the full destination.

Patients aren’t just here for care and weight loss, they are learning and understanding their body and physiology which helps set them up for long-term success and sustainability of loss.

We are proactive in our approach to everything.

Traditional medicine often waits or something to break, diagnosable disease, out-of-range labs, etc. We step in earlier when we see a lab trending out of range.

For example, we intervene when:

  • LDL is drifting higher
  • A1C is creeping up
  • Energy is off and hemoglobin has been trending down
  • Hormones are suboptimal

Preventing something from breaking is always better than fixing something that is already broken.

We personalize based on response, not averages

Most care is guideline-based “standard dose,” or “normal range.” We look at the full picture and adjust appropriately.

We consider things like  lifestyle, behavior, expectations, and physiology. Whether it’s a microdose or a more therapeutic dose, we tailor recommendations to each patient, not the average patient. We offer multiple options with different levels of effort, so your plan actually fits your life. Everything is mapped with intention, using your data and your preference of support and lift to guide both the path and the pace. This is bespoke, data-supported care designed to fit your lifestyle and the time you have.

We integrate lifestyle and medication instead of separating them

Most models split care and management. For example:

  • The PCP says that you should  “eat better”
  • Specialist or telehealth company says you should “take this drug”

We combine these efforts and more for a holistic approach that is more sustainable long-term. We utilize:

  • GLP-1 medication with a protein strategy and fiber strategy, we have a hydration protocol and goal, we implement resistance training (designed to seamlessly attach to a patient’s current routine) to address and target a goal weight
  • Other proactive medication like NAD+,  recovery tactics,  sleep, stress management and nutrition to address energy.
  • Hormones, symptom pattern and labs to optimize how someone can feel their best.

We use medication as a tool, not the entire strategy because you’ll never feel your best only utilizing a mediation. We provide continuity and accountability.  We don’t rotate providers so there’s never any gaps in your care.

We provide continuity and accountability

We:
• Track progress over time, both granularly and in long-term trends
• Revisit and refine strategies based on results
• Provide primary and secondary recommendations with clear rationale
• Own your care as a team from start to finish

We follow up at key intervals to ensure everything is working and unfolding as it should, and if it’s not, we adjust plan and course. And most importantly we think about outcomes.

We don’t think of success like:
“We prescribed this so this must be happening.”

We think of success like:
• Is your energy better?
• Is food noise down?
• Are labs trending correctly?
• Is this sustainable long-term?

We prioritize the fundamentals and benchmark success metrics along the journey so that when you reach your goal, everything is optimized, not just the number on the scale.
